Juventus striker Mirko Vucinic has vowed to silence the critics by promising to score more of the simple goals rather than less of the spectacular strikes he is well known for.
The 27-year-old came off the bench in the 4-1 win over Parma last week but failed to find the net despite numerous chances.
Vucinic has built a solid reputation for scoring remarkable goals, but he has come under stinging criticism for failing to net the easy opportunities.
However, with a fight on his hands to find a regular place in Antonio Conte's starting XI, the striker believes he can punch well above his weight this season.
"People usually say I score goals which are difficult and that I lack consistency," Vucinic is quoted as saying on Goal.com Italy.
"I would like to score the stupid goals that are important.
"I do not understand why people say I lack consistency or focus, I am always the same person when I get on the pitch."
Juventus meet Siena on Sunday at the Artemio Franchi stadium with kick-off taking place at 15:00 (CET).
