Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin believes his side will face either Manchester City or Manchester United in the knockout stages of the Europa League, when the draw is announced on Friday evening in Nyon.

The Bianconeri claimed second position in Group I behind Atletico Madrid with a 1-1 draw against Celtic on Thursday evening.

"We found ourselves in a very tough Group," the tactician was reported saying post-match. "Maybe it was the hardes of them all, and this took up a lot of our energies.

"But our aim was to progress. This match was like a final, as a small detail could have been the difference.

Guidolin says knowing the side's luck, they will face one of England's powerhouse outfits.

"We faced Arsenal in the Champions League [qualifiers] and then were put into this Group," he added.

"I'm sure that we will be drawn up against one of the Manchester sides."
