Reports in France are suggesting that David Beckham has signed with Paris St Germain since Carlo Ancelotti was announced as manager earlier today. But Beckham’s representatives have stressed they are in negotiations with a number of clubs.

"There is no agreement with PSG at this time, an offer does not make a contract, we continue to hold negotiations with a number of clubs," Beckham's representatives said in a statement released by the SEMP public relations company.

"No decision has been made and we do not expect one at the moment."

Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) who are the mega-rich owners of PSG are confident the Englishman would become a PSG player soon.

"We are confident that he will be in attendance for the (friendly) match with AC Milan, and are happy to see David and his family settle into Paris."

PSG sporting director Leonardo confirms that no deal has been signed.

"We have a good relationship but I don't know what he is going to do.

"There is always the question of his personal life. He is in Los Angeles.

"Nothing is signed."

However it still seems just a matter of time before Beckham does sign for the Parisians so we all just have to wait.
